Stress Free Tuesday

Some Ways to De-Stress Your Day!

1. Cuddle with your pet. Pets who own people are less stressed and live longer, oh we mean people who own pets live longer and are less stressed.

2. Take a long hot bath, with candles and soft music. Do not take your cat in with you. Unless they happen to like water.

3. Take a Yoga class. Mom says it is very relaxing and makes her feel better. Did you know us cats do yoga naturally?

4. Take a Tai Chi class. Mom says it calms the mind and gets rid of bye-bye arms. What ever those are??? Lot's of foot work I am told. Purrfect for cat feet.

5. Go outside and soak up some sun. Put sunscreen on first, though. Take a book with you and read the latest Midnight Louie Book, by Carole Nelson Douglas. Swoon!! He's a black cat stud!! We cats love to bake in the sun, too.

6. Watch a funny movie, like Garfield's: A Tale of Two Kitties. Or Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid, by Steve Martin.

7. Take a walk, on the beach, at the mall, on a wooded trail, around a pond. Take us with you in a cat stroller or on a harness, if no pooches are around that is.

8. Sleep late. We cats promise not to wake you up before 5 am, we mean 10 am.

9. Put on your favorite song and dance around the house. Remember not to step on us.

Mom's is us, to lay wif Zippy on da bed and hear her per or to hold me like a baby on her shoulder and lissen to me snore (I drool too) or to haf Sadie lay on her feet and hug dem. Ours is to beg fur a massage frum mom, oooooh so good.

Great list! :) I like to nap to de-stress, or play with my toys. My mom likes to go for a run, take or teach a group fitness (aerobics) class, read a good book, or pet me while I'm purring.

That is a great list. My Mommie loves to read and go for walks. And guess what? She is starting a Yoga class today!

I love to sleep in the sunshine, all stretched out. It feels good!

Mommy says her favorite ways to relax are walks & reading, I think her favorite way includes rum...don't tell her I told you...
I like to relax by finding a warm sunbeam, streatching way out, and taking a long snooze...

My favorite de-stressers are cuddles and lapnaps, and music is a great de-stresser, too.

For me....I like to tackle Chase when I'm stressed. Or run around a lot. For the Lap Lady it is riding her horse or going for a walk.

To dee-stress, i's like ta jump on Missy 'n surpize hers. Hee hee. Course, sometimes she hisses, reely biggie hissie, an we chase, but that's fun too. we kin always relax later.

Mom likes to drive, and drive, and drive the black masheen, but gasoline is REALLY 'spensive!
