Wow, that is a big bird - my cats would be so jealous! We have falcons around our house sometimes, they look kind of like that but that picture makes it seem like it is way bigger than the falcons! Of course, it looks like it would be fun to chase, but I bet it is a tough cookie - probably best that you can't go after that one!
Wooho! Big fev-vers. It looks a lot like the buzzards we get here. They eat mousies rather than smaller birds, but we don't know if that is a hawk or buzzard.
Hello my dearest Florida friends Samantha and Mr Tigger! I just woke up and mommy said I should come and tell you that you are the winners of the kitty looking over the fence blankie! You will love this nice warm blankie...we never used it because it was tooooo pretty. Now it is yours! Yeah! Your bid was $20+$3 shipping... That is such a big help to my Vet bills. I am grateful for my loving friends...I will have your address when you make your PayPal payment on my bloggy...there is a button on the sidebar. Thank you so very much for all your purrrs, Love Miss Peach (sleeping the day away)

Wow, that looks like a hawk to me...we have a book where I can look up the birdies that show up in the yard. We've never had a hawk in our yard!

Cool! It might be a red-shouldered hawk or an osprey! But I am not certain.
If that is a hawk, that is one brave little birdie sitting on the same pole! We usually see little birdies hide from the hawks around here!
