Her friend Melodie (after they found out I was a girl) said Blackie wasn't a girl's name and that I looked like a Samantha. 3 . So, I became Samantha Black. 4 . My nickname is Sammie. 5 . I know I'm in trouble when Mom calls me Samantha Black, in that tone of hers. 6 . Dad just calls me Sam. 7 . I like to watch Bewitched, because her name is Samantha. 8 . I don't know any other cats named Samantha. 9 . My name is Aramaic and means Listener. 10 . The name Samantha has only been around since the latter part of the 18th century. 11 . Famous Samantha's include, Samantha Eggar, an actress; Samantha Mulder of the TV Series X-Files; and Samantha Fox, a 1980's pop singer. 12 .
