Oh Mom hates it when I get on the stove! We got a burners are under the glass top stove and she is always afraid I might jump on it when it is hot! Oh dear, yes the stove is a dangerous place. Luckily our human never uses hers ;)
Tristan (and Diamond) is not allowed on the stove either. I don't know where he got the ridiculous notion that he was.
Mr Tigger you are one big danger-cat there! The only time we hear our Mum shout is when we clamber about on the stove!

Allie does that too - it makes Mom very nervous! We hear lots of "ALLIE! GET DOWN" when she goes on the stove. Ours is a glass top too and Mom is afraid she will hurt herself one day.

We do that too, Mr. Tigger! We use it as a jumping off point to get on top of the cabinets. Chevelle got in lots of trouble when she knocked something off the top of the cabinet and it broke the glass stove top. OOPS! Just make sure you don't do that and you will be ok. Oh and don't get up there while it is in use :)

Tig my man, I do that EXACT same thing. I love to take a nap on top of the stove when mommy is baking something in the oven . . . the warm just feels SO GOOD!
Sammie-pie, are you up for a snuggle? Mommy has been bad not letting me visit, and then she went and brought a PUPPY home with her this weekend. I think I need some extra comfort from my tuxie princess this week.
I don't tables or cabinets. I think the Stove is part of the cabinets. Mom is not sure where I learned my manners!
I don't do cabinets or the stove. I do like the table top because it is glass and it is cool.
Even though my cats are not to get on the counter tops and such, I know the second I leave the room they will jump up and hope not to be caught. Thanks for sharing your story.
I'm not allowed on the stove either. We have one like that and the Woman has the same worry.
Hi Tigger! I'll be right over to visit. If you want I can bring "my" Christmas tree skirt, it is very fun to sleep and play on.
My Mom does not like me getting on our stove either - we have the same kind. She usually puts a tea kettle over the burner if it is still hot.

my sister Gandalf burned her bushy tail for countless times!! I guess she just lost senses on her tail because she keeps on doing it!! Jimbo never do such thing, though..

Mom haf dat same fear, speshully wif Sadie cuz she just jumps wifout looking. Mom keeps stuff on da stove so we won't get up der, it's blocked! Dad sez it's ugly but mom don't care, she just doesn't want to deal wif burned paws.
Oh, Tigger, you're braver than me! I think stoves are scary, and whenever my mom even gets near it, I run like crazy!

We have a stove like that, too! Luckily, my Mommie never uses it. But when the oven part is on (like to cook a frozen pizza), I like to sit there because it is so warm.
I would worry about that, too. We've never had a flat stove surface like that and the cats are not allowed up there. They've never even tried. However, when Rascal was a little girl and first went into heat, she'd jump up ON THE STOVE and do her booty up in the air dance :-0 When I saw that I told Sunny's Daddy, that's it, she has to get fixed NOW!

I actually did burn my feets on the stove...now mom watches me to make sure I don't get up there anymore...but I still do...hehehe!

Don't get up on the stove, your mom is right. You don't want to burn any of your cute little fuzzy paws.
