Ironic Friday with Samantha and Tigger

Tigger and I got to eat our Ham on the table this year. Which is kinda ironic, because of what I wrote in My First Thanksgiving story for TT's 100th Post Contest. Here it is: I was only 4 months old my first Thanksgiving and I loved jumping up on the table. Mr. Tigger and Ariel warned me that I would get in trouble, especially with all the family coming over. I thought no way, cause I was only a kitten and kittens get all the breaks. So while Mom and daughterbean was getting everything ready. I jumped up on the chair and poked my nose over the table, hoping no one would see me, and boy, was that Turkey smelling good. So I reached my paw out, geez I just wanted a taste and zap it was raining in the house. I looked around and saw sonbean with the squirt bottle. He never like me anyway! So I jumped down and walked over to Mom and gave her my sorrowfulest mew and she picked me up and petted me. And she said, did that mean son of mine squirt you? Then she put me down and gave Mr. Tigger, Ariel and me a big plate of turkey. Boy was it good. Later in the day I got even with the son by climbing up his leg with my sharp kitten claws and (hehehe) he had shorts on.

Wow, you were allowed up on the table! And you got to eat ham! I'm jealous! I didn't get to eat any human food when we celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving last month. I hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving.

Good job! Sometimes it takes awhile to table train the humans so they understand you're supposed to get up there ... but it's worth it!

It's weerd, we all walk on the table except when there is food on it. The only time mom puts food on the table is when we haf company, other wise everyone fixes a plate out of pans on the stove and den sits down to eat.

Wow, what luck to get ham up there on the table! My dad always tells me to get off when I try to sit on the table, but I can get away with jumping up there if it's just my Food Lady in the kitchen! Hehehe she thinks I'm cute! But I've never had a meal on the table...yet!

You're lucky to eat on the table - I got yelled at for sitting in the chair next to my mommy (daddy didn't seem to mind though).

Wow, you got to eat at the table! Way to go with training the beans. I get yelled at for getting onto the furniture, let alone eating on the table.

Excellent... claws and bare legs. Hahahaha... we run now when we even hear the squirt bottle. We don't like the inside rain. Well, Merlin doesn't care. We are glad you had your ham on the table :) It's supposed to be for eating!

It's about time your parents realised that ya are a part of the family and should be eating at the table. Wanted Samatha to know that her review is in my post for today, thought ya all would want to know.

Yum! Good for you! I would have loved to join the humans at the table but we had a guest. Mommy thinks he would have not understood...

At least you saw where the water was coming from ! I am more vicious with my cats, I bought a water pistol and when they were little kittens and did something they shouldn't do I just shot and made a very innocent face. They never realize what had happened to them but it was efficent, lol !
No thanksgiving for my cats, their ancestors weren't pilgrim cats ! They stayed in Europe to hunt mice.

Can you guys come over here and show our humans about that? They need to learn it's ok to eat at the table. (I'm not sure they even know it for themselves -- they seldom do. *snicker*)
